Match Report: This Sunday Open was the 4th qualifier for The Headfen £2250 Masters 2009 and was fished on Trev's Lake with 22 anglers present. It was Tom Wilson who qualified for next years final when he took Carp to 7lb on meat over hemp on pole at 11m, runner-up on the day was Neil Button who took 10 chub to caster & worm from the 9m pole line. |

Match Report: This Sunday Open on the Snake Lake was the 1st qualifier for the £2250 Headfen Masters 2009. With twenty anglers in attendance it was Val Coleman who took the spoils at the end of a very close match, taking 46 carp, 20 on the method feeder then switching to pellet and maggot in the margins for the rest, which also won The Golden Peg worth £200 on the day. |

Day 2 of the HEADFEN LAKES £1500 SNAKE FINAL saw the leader from day 1, Allan Archer wrap things up when he drew his winning peg from the previous day, this time he took 64 carp on pellet from down the track and the margins netting him £500. Cheryl Horton's 2nd place added to a day 1 5th place being good enough for 2nd overall and £350. Lester Pratt took 3rd over the 2 days and £225. |

Match Report: Sunday saw 24 anglers turn out for the final qualifier for the £1500 Snake Final. There was a peg to peg battle for the honours on the day between 2 Hotrods team anglers with Tim Dabrowa coming out on top when he took 56 carp on pellet fished shallow at 10m which just edged out Rob Lincoln's catch of 50 carp taken on pellet fished down his left hand margin. Next weekend sees the Snake Final, with an 8·30am draw and the matches being fished from 10am - 4pm on both days. |

Match Report: This Bank Holiday Monday match on Snake Lake was the penultimate one in a series of 26 qualifiers for the £1500 Final. The winner on the day was the previous days winner, Allan Archer who used similar tactics to the previous match to take 70 carp to pellet and meat from 7m line and left hand margin for his Ton+ haul. The other 2 Ton+ hauls falling to 2nd placed Terry Moat and 3rd placed Tim Dabrowa. The final qualifier of the series takes place on Sunday August 31st with the Final taking place over Saturday September 6th and Sunday September 7th. |

Match Report: This Sunday open on Trev's Lake, the venue's mixed fishery saw 20 anglers turning out for the draw. The pegs in the thirties proved to be the pegs to draw with 5 of the top 6 anglers drawing there. Taking the honours on the day was Lindsay Naylor with a great mixed bag weighing 43llbs 02ozs which included 10 Chub to 5lb, 1 tench of 4lb, 1 carp of 4lb + skimmers and roach, all caught on caster and maggot / caster in margins. 2nd placed Val Colman's bag included 2 Tench to 5lb + small carp to 10oz on pellet in margins. |
