Launched at the 2008 Tackle & Guns Trade Show, this range of tackle storage is going to be seen on the bank a lot due to some of the innovative inclusions that have been developed. The main product in the new Box Logic range is the Rig Station. The Rig Station is essentially a large tackle box on four legs but there is far more to this than being a box on legs. The large centre part of the box section has many adjustable dividers that can be set to exactly how the angler wishes them to be set out.
The legs on the box have no external locking nuts or cam lever for adjustment and the adjustment is done by a twist and lock spring loaded mechanism that is housed completely within the leg itself. Nash have also fitted mud feet to the legs which are not too big or too small, but just the right size in my honest opinion, so that the box will not sink into soft ground or damage groundsheets. Also included with the Rig Station is a handy little side tray that can be filled with water and used for critically balancing pop-up rigs from the comfort of the bivvy or shelter.
To compliment the Rig Station, Nash have also launched a full range of smaller internal boxes designed to fit in with the Rig Station and the rest of the Box Logic range. Mainly of note of these smaller internal boxes is the specifically designed Chod Box, which has been designed to keep ready made Chod Rigs at the correct tension, length and material curve for the most efficient hooking potential.
Featuring a foam roller inside the box, the hook of the rig is placed in one side of the cutout section, and then rotated to curve the hooklink material before being secured with one of the supplied pins. An ingenious design and I am sure that this will be a huge seller in the shops and that any serious specimen angler will have one of these in their armoury Both Ray and myself will be doing a full in-depth review of the Rig Station and the other Box Logic products once they are available, but from first impressions at the Tackle & Guns Trade Show, I am seriously considering changing back to a box based storage solution for my rig components over the current multiple pouches that I currently use.
Amazing, revolutionary, cam-action rod butt lock. The Butt Lock’s levers clamp your rod in a vice-like grip. Lift the rod and the unique cam action opens the levers for easy and smooth release. Designed to fit any 3/8 inch BSF Bankstick. Rays Verdict
I have been using the Butt Lock Rear Rest for over 4 months now and have found them to be a quality tool, perfect for the job in hand. When I first tried them out I virtually pulled the bankstick out of the ground with no loss of tension on the rod. This simple but very effective gadget in not just another gimmick to make you spend money, they securely clamp you rod better than any other Butt Grips I have tried and when you are fast asleep at night, they guarantee that your precious Rods & Reels will still be where you left them even after the most ferocious of takes.
To check that the Rest is totally secure try giving the butt of the rod a tug towards the Reel, when you feel no movement they are set correctly. The tension to the Rod is created by the rubber strips which are mounted on the internal faces of the levers, as well as securing the rods, this also means no scratches or scuffs on you precious Rods. To Release the rod from the Butt Lock Rear Rest, you simply lift your Rod, the levers open and the rod is free, It's that simple. Another question many of you will ask is " are they suitability for use with either Abbreviated & Full Cork Handles??" I have used the Butt Lock Rear Rest with both styles of Handle with perfect results every time. This is why I know own 4 of these and until I find another Butt Rest that will do a better job I won't change them. Nash have come up trumps with these superbly simple but exceptionally secure Butt Rests, a must have item for any angler who regularly fishes venues where they fish tight to snags and need there tackle securely locked-up. DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME On a recent sessions I made the fatal mistake of not switching my Baitrunner on whilst fishing a tight line to an Island feature, when my buzzer screamed and I looked up to see my Rod lift off the Buzzer and swing round to the right. As you can guess my heart was in my mouth as I saw my Rod swing through the air at great speed, following the angry creature at the other end. The only thing stopping my rod from disappearing into the distance was the Butt Lock Rear Rest which held on to my rod with an assuring strength and reliability that potentially saved me £200 and a lot of embarrassment, I even landed the Fish! I can honestly say that I have total confidence in the Nash Butt Lock Rear Rest and would highly recommend that you try one for yourself, you will not be disappointed. A superb product 10/10

A dedicated cover to prevent wet or muddy rod holdalls/bivvies soiling your car. Ray's VerdictAs a born again Specimen Angler, having seen the light and stepped back from the dark side [Match Fishing] returning to the more relaxing side of things. I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality and developments in the Luggage readily available to the Speci Angler today. One of the leading Brands names and have been for many years is Nash, it is clear to see that they have really took the time to produce luggage that is both well manufactured & exceptionally practical for the job they have been designed for.
The Made Up Rod storage compartment on this spacious luggage has it all, Deep padded Butt Pockets, Reel compartments that are very well padded and ample enough in size to accommodate the largest of Big Pit Reels with ease. Each Rod is held in place by two Velcro straps which guarantees your Rods are always secure,To top this of you have a Padded Dividing Panel to separate your 3 Spare Rods, which also have all the security offered to your Made Up Rods, now add as extra the Nash Neoprene Tip Top Butt & Tip Protectors and short of throwing in a Security Guard your Rods could not be any safer. The Apache Speed 3 also boasts two enormous external Pockets, The first is designed to carry a Brolly shelter, Landing Net Handle etc and is 1.85m in length, I managed to put 6 Standard Rod Tubes in this compartment comfortably and it zipped up with ease. The smaller outer pocket will house all your bankstick's, Telescopic Landing Net Handles or pretty much anything you want up to it's 1.35m capacity. Once you have the outer pockets fully loaded you then have the advisable option of fastening the to outer Pocket retaining Straps, which are fully adjustable and pull everything nicely together.
To Finish the Apache Speed 3 off, it comes supplied with a rigid, lightweight, aluminium stiffener which has a purpose built sleeve along the spine of the Rod Bag to guarantee rigidity and shape. This is without question the best all-round Rod Bag I have ever used, I cant find a single fault. It carries everything you could possibly need for a long session with room to spare, but to say it would only "suit the requirements of the specimen angler" would be wrong. This versatile, well manufactured Rod Bag would suit the needs of any Specimen or Match angler who needs to carry large amounts of kit securely. To Complement a quality Rod Bag you need a quality Carry All, and the Nash Monster Carry All fits the bill perfectly. This well manufactured carry all has numerous storage options, a huge main chamber with an internal base stiffener, 2 zipped end pocket, a zipped front padded pocket, plus 3 zipped Airlex pockets, with this many options you'll find the right place for everything. Plenty of thought has gone into the protection of the base of the carry all, to prevent long term damage a Rubberised, super-tough, hard-wearing base with hard wearing pads has been fitted to eliminate unnecessary damage. The carry handles have a Velcro clasp which fastens them together, making them very comfortable in the hand. The luxury padded, dual-adjustable shoulder strap aids in making the Monster Carry All very easy to carry even when fully loaded. This is a piece of luggage that wont let you down, when I first loaded it up, I was amazed at how much tackle it would actually hold, A Complete Tackle Management System, 3 x Glug Cases, Rig Wallet, Lead Pouch, a small food bag, 3 x PVA Tubes, 2 x Catty's, Bivvi Light, Kettle and Frying Pan, and that was just in the main chamber, you can also get a small Buzz Bar Case in the padded front pocket comfortably. A well thought out Carry All that will last you years and Great value for your money.

No more messing about in the margins walking backwards & forwards to the bivvy to add extra putty to the rig. The water tray also means the rigs using the unique Nash Triggalink material can be prepared before being attached to the rod, meaning that there are no wasted seconds during the best feeding spells of the day. Incorporated in the front of the box itself is a slide out drawer that has a fitted foam rig board for easy and efficient access to ready tied rigs.
On the opposite side to the balancing tray, you have the supplied needle/baiting tools box which also clips onto the outside of the Rig Station for easy access even when the lid is closed. No more searching around for a needle or hair stop in the middle of the night! The needle/baiting box also has two small hinged lid compartments for holding hair stops or other sundry items.

Simply open the levers of the Butt Lock Rear Rest and place your Rod Handle inside, then with a minimum of force simply push down closing the levers and your Rod is secure.

From the quality materials used in production to attention to detail on the finish you will have to look long and hard to find better quality. For the last 2 weeks I have been putting the Apache Speed 3 12FT Rod Bag, Monster Carry All & Rod Bag Cover to the test, to see if they performed as well as they looked. Nash Apache 3 12ft Rod Bag If your an Angler who likes the security of knowing that your precious rods and reels will be safe from harm whilst in transit then look no further.
To Finish off this well thought out rod Bag Nash have fitted a well padded, fully adjustable Shoulder Strap that is designed to carry weight in excess of 50kg. With a carry handle located in a position which means the Rod Bag is perfectly balanced when you carry it fully loaded, this was a big plus for me as virtually all Rod Bag carry handle just never seem to be in the right place.
The Nash Rod Bag Cover What a fantastic idea, how many times have we all packed up after a session on the bank after a day of torrential rain, mud everywhere and most of it on it's way to the back of your car attached to your luggage.
