Trying to find a rig or bait presentation that could make that all important difference is the goal of all anglers who take there carp fishing seriously, especially during the colder months when the weather can change dramatically during the session, thus hindering your chances of catching anything ever more. With conventional Pop Ups not offering the same release as conventional bottom baits, anglers started to develop a single hook bait that popped up of the bottom and contained the identical ingredients and release as there chosen bottom baits.

Not to be out done by this problem, the innovative nature of carp anglers led to the designed and release of the first generation of Cork Ball Pop Up. These incredibly buoyant baits are made by simply making a standard base mix paste, and then you roll the paste out to approximately 3 to 4mm thick. Then by rolling a layer of the paste around a cork ball and then boiling as you would a boilie. This will gives you a hook bait that is perfect for chod, stiff and any rig where buoyant baits are required to offer an alternative presentation.

To make things simple for you Kent Particles have released a complete range of Cork Ball pop ups to compliment the range of Mainline Bait Flavours they currently have in stock, these includes Fusion, Activ 8, Cell (pictured) and the very impressive New Grange.

There are three sizes available which are 14mm with 50 baits per tub, 16mm with 45 baits per tub and 18mm, which gives you 35 baits per tub and these, very well rolled Cork Ball Pop Ups sell for a reasonable £8.99 per tub.
