Although every lake in England currently has a lid on it and any thoughts of casting a baited rod is out of the question. So with no one realistically looking at catching anything until we get a decent period of warmer weather to melt the ice that covers our waters, now is a time to consider potential new bait options for your next session that may give you an edge. This buoyant hook bait options are available in 12mm or 16mm sizes and both sizes are sold in 200ml tubs. You can buy both sizes in fluro Yellow, Pink, White and Orange to offer a colour to suit most of your angling requirements. The big bonus with the Fluro Fresh Pop-up range is that you can buy them in numerous classic flavours including Mainline Baits Cell, New Grange and Activ-8. Other top brands flavours available are the superb B5 from Essential Baits and Nash Baits very popular Scopex Squid Red.

First Impressions

We got a complete set of the Active-8 in all colours sent over for our team to have a look at and I was very impressed with the amount of liquid flavouring that coated every single hook bait with the very noticeable and distinctive aroma of the classic Activ-8. We have handed these around the team to get some feedback over the coming months so until then we will leave the jury out!! Expect to pay no more than £5.99 per tub of what on first impression look and smell like some very fishable Pop-ups
