Richworth Tutti Frutti

Freezer Dumbell Boilie Pellets

RRP £11.75 per kg

Ask any serious carp angler who has been in the game for longer than 25 years and I’ll give you good odds that during that time, the majority of these anglers will have used or experimented with Tutti Frutti flavoured baits and additives at one time or another. This one flavour has accounted for more fish than possibly any other flavour ever used in carp fishing situations, and is as popular today as it was well over 30 years ago, when Richworth first released this incredible fish catching flavour way back in 1983. Over the past two decades many developments in flavourings and base mixes has seen many flavours and ingredients come and go but Tutti Frutti still has its place in the bait arsenals of many seasoned anglers.

Today Richworth along with most bait manufacturers have developed Tutti Frutti as a major part of there flavoured baits selection. Offering everything from Soft Hook Pellets, feed pellets and ground baits for the coarse and match anglers, to boilies pastes and liquid flavours for the carp and specialist anglers, the boundries are endless. Richworths latest addition to the Tutti Frutti family is the Freezer Dumbell Boilie Pellets. These 14mm in diameter and about 20mm long have the identical ingredients as the standard boilie freezer baits but have a larger surface area than a standard 14mm boilies. This gives a hook bait alternative, with a larger surface area that should potentially release more flavours and attractors into the swim.

For the carp angler who has never used a dumbbell they can serve several purposes and are most definitely a bait option to consider. They have found favour on waters where the resident carp have seen it all before. Kilos upon kilo of boilies are fed by anglers and the carp have learned to associate these baits and shapes as potential dangers and avoid them in many circumstances. The dumbell boilie pellet is an option that contains all the right foods and triggers but because it is not of a standard shape or form, the fish are more likely to feed confidently and take your bait, as apposed to a conventional round boilie. The other major fact is that it has been proven that cap find it virtually impossible to eject these baits meaning more hooked fish.

Final Thoughts

If the Tutti Frutti flavour was a car it would be the Aston Martin DB5, a classic of its generation and admired by many. As with the DB5, there are still thousands of followers of this incredible flavour classic and it is still as sort after today as it ever was. By releasing the Tutti Frutti Dumbell Boilie Pellets, Richworth have brought this unique flavour into the second decade of this millennium and developed a hook bait option that works on today’s pressured venues as well as it did on so many carp waters all those years ago. Definitely a bait flavour classic that won’t go away and now in a form to meet the requirements of modern carp anglers, a superb product!!
