STICKY BAITS
Bloodworm Range

Over the past couple of years there has been a definite trend towards natural bait flavours and additives to enhance carp and specialist baits. With fishmeal and fish oil price ever increasing, many manufacturers are looking into utilising other tried a tested natural resources to enhance hookbaits and accompanying product. Everything from oyster, earthworm, maggot extract and hemp proteins are now become more and more popular as the search for a long term replacement for fishmeal and ever more expensive flavourings continues to grows. One natural flavour extract that has built a big reputation and established its place on most anglers ‘to use’ list either as a hookbait or particle additive over the past few years is the en vogue Bloodworm flavour. Let’s face it, if you want your bait and feed to blend naturally into an aquatic environment and mimic part of the venues natural eco system on any type of water system you are likely to fish, you will do well to better or match the potentials of bloodworm.

Sticky Baits have developed and produced a complete food source for carp and specialist anglers based around bloodworm and in 2009 they first released the bloodworm boilies. These dark red baits take there colour from the inclusion of Robin Red and have a noticeable fishmeal aroma with an earthy undertone. They contain a combination of low temperature and soluble fishmeals, specially imported crustacean extracts, blood plasma and fresh bloodworm. To enhance the pulling power of the bait further Paprika is also added to boost the baits attraction.

Sticky Baits then built on the boilies reputation and launched the second product in the range the bloodworm pellets. These deep red aromatic pellets have evolved and now contain improved levels of bloodworm extract and now include the Hydrolysed Bloodworm Compound which greatly improving the pellets all round attraction and performance. Sticky baits take great pride in still producing there high quality feed pellets in house. They do this to guarantee that the production quality of the bloodworm pellets stays as high as possible.

To compliment the bloodworm bolies and pellets, sticky baits have also released a stick and bag mix. This tan coloured groundbait contains much higher levels of the soluble ingredients used in the production of the bloodworm boilies. This means that when mixed with water or one of the Sticky baits boosters, it instantly creates a cloud of particles and attractants in your swim that is designed to stimulate feeding. Finally sticky baits have added the bloodworm pop ups to give you an alternative presentation for those occasions when bottom baits are not working.
