Deliverance Deal For UKCarpAngler Rod

 

 

Things are truly on the up for www.ukcarpangler.com rod, Carl Sharp. It was only six weeks ago that he joined the ranks of Kent based Solar Tackle as a sponsored angler under the watchful eye of  big fish maestro and general nice bloke Martin Locke. Then two weeks later Carl finally landed the fish he’s been after for nearly five years, a stunning 45lbs 9oz mirror from Dovecote near Milton Keynes. Then to cap it all off, last weekend whilst on a video shoot at Bluebell Lakes, in Northamptonshire, the very productive Midlands based rod got offered a field testers position with Deliverance Bait boats.

UKMA spoke to Mike Wilcock the owner of the Hull based bait boat manufacturers who told us;

“We are delight to have Carl on board and Deliverance are really looking forward to the future working with him over the past 6 months he has made quite an impact with in the carp angling world and we see him as a long term asset”.

We had a little chat with Carl who’s only comment was “It just don’t get any better than this”

Carl has already established a reputation for being passionate and enthusiastic about the sport but his down to earth attitude has made him many friends within the industry at all levels.

Carl’s first duty will be to field test a new prototype Deliverance that Mike and his team are currently working on for possible release in late 2011. The boat will feature all the existing high quality characteristics of the latest model but there are numerous top secret developments that the company are keeping very close to there chest for the time being. We wish Carl ever success for the future with Deliverance and hopefully we’ll be publishing some top secret info about the new boat as it becomes available.
