There Is No Stopping Toby Long!

Dynamite Baits have sent over a recent news story.

Dynamite sponsored angler, Toby Long, has once again been amongst the fish at Norfolks Waveney Valley Lakes, this time landing two cracking 20lb plus fish.

Toby started his latest 24-hour session, by placing two rods over a spot that he had recently pre-baited with Dynamite's Chocolate Malt and Tigernut Boilies. His third rod was cast as a single bait hookbait well away from the pre-bait.

“A couple of hours into darkness, the middle rod fished over the pre-baited area indicated a take. After a great battle - which saw the fish charging up and down the margins - there was a nice long common in the folds of the net. On the scales she weighed in at a very pleasing 23lb 8oz.”, explained Toby.

“At 3:45am my left hand rods indicator slowly rose up to the blank and sat there quivering. Automatically after pulling into the fish all hell broke loose, with the fish taking line from a tight clutch and flat rodding me on several occasions.
The first time I saw the fish she was in the folds of the net, and by torchlight I could see it was one of my remaining target fish. I quickly slipped her into a sack for some photographs at first light.
On the scales she went 26lb 8oz, a bit down in weight but it matters not. What a stunning old fish!”, concluded Toby.

Both fish were caught on running chod rigs, baited with Dynamite's Tutti Frutti and Pineapple & Banana Flouro Pop-Ups.
