BBC TV STAR JOINS “ELITE ANGLING PRODUCTS” CHAMPIONSHIP CARP FISHING TEAM.
Eastenders TV star Scott Maslen joins Elite Angling Products International in their quest for the British crown.
On screen TV actor Scott Maslen has joined the match fishing team of Carmarthenshire based fishing tackle manufacturer Elite Angling Products International for the UK calendars biggest carp fishing event “The British Carp Angling Championship” along with regular fishing partner and pal Martin Ford, the former editor of Carpworld and Advanced Carp Fishing Magazine.
Scott who plays heart throb club owner “Jack Branning” has been a keen carp angler for many years and participated in last year’s 2009 St Lawrence International Challenge in America with angling partner Martin Ford.
Both Scott and Martin are both really excited about the event and are delighted to be part of the Elite Angling Products International championship team. Elite Angling Products International owner and team captain Karl Hopkins said “I am absolutely delighted that Martin and Scott have decided to join us this year in the BCACs. Both Martin and Scott are very experienced anglers and will be an important asset to our 6 strong team in this year’s event. We at Elite would like to welcome Martin and Scott on board and wish all the competitors in this year’s event the very best of luck.

This year’s “Elite” team are made up of team captain, Karl Hopkins and Coventrys Chris Harris, Current World carp brace record holder Graham Slaughter and Tim Denyer ,a former consultant for Rod Hutchinson, and latest pair Martin Ford and Scott Maslen. There are 6 initial qualifying rounds. Coverage of the two Semi Final rounds and Final are on both Sky Sports and BBC radios Talk Sport.
