Originally designed for the prevention of rods being dislodged from your alarms when fishing with your lines at acute angles from your rod tips or when you need to have everything locked up when fishing close to snags. However, the humble snag ear is now in most cases simply become nothing more than an essential piece of shiny alarm jewellery, that no self respecting "Essex Boy" could ever fish without. Let’s face it, just think how many fish would never get caught if the "look at me brigade", just at the bottom of East Anglia left their snag ears at home. (Only joking lads)

They have been specifically designed to comfortably fit in the channels either side of the battery compartment on the i3 alarms. Offering the user superb secondary protection from potential loss or damage to your rods during violent takes or when fishing locked up to snags, would you believe it!!  Snag ears that work for a living, what ever next???

The ACE i3 Alarm Snag Ears have been engineered from high grade stainless steel which means that it should never rust. They have incorporated a downward curved, stand off   'Hockey Stick' that has a standard threaded adaptor to accept hangers and swing arm bite indicators from all the usual manufacturers including Matrix and Solar Tackle.

The ACE i3 Alarm Snag Ears are now available from all leading Advanced Carp Equipment retailers and they are sold individually for £18.99 and not wishing to be a tart, they will look rather dapper on my new Carbon Pod when it arrives this week.
