The long awaited release of "Living The Dream" finally took place at the 2010 Carp Societys Winter show at Sandown Park last weekend. The Mpress Media stand was virtually mobbed for the 2 day show as anglers patiently queued for their signed copy of this, the first literary outing from Nigel Sharp, who is widely recognised by those anglers in the know as one of the most successful carp anglers of all time.

The book lets you meet the Nigel Sharp known only to his closest friends and family. You’ll discover how dedication hard work and sheer hard graft has made him one of the most admired and envied carp anglers in the world.

UKCA got our hands on a signed copy at the weekend and have found it to be an excellent well written and very easy to read book. The book has been exceptionally well illustrated with some of the lake photography and catch shots as good as any I have seen.

I’m still ploughing my way through my copy but when I get a chance to have a read, I do find it very hard to put down. An enjoyable book from an exceptional angler, and is without question one of the best books of the year.
