JRC Making Contact
In these days of having to penny pinch at every opportunity, its refreshing to see that many of our trusted brands are seeing the need to produce products that are both of a good quality and most importantly affordable to the angler on a budget with one of the pack leaders being JRC. ![]() So true to his there word, we received a bundle of parcels from JRC which contained the best part of the Contact range for us to really have a good look at. JRC Contact 1 Man Bivvy RRP £129.99![]() The Contact 1 Man is an entry level Bivvy but don’t let that put you off. This budget Bivvy from JRC is a conventional pram hood style shelter that can be put up in a couple of minutes without breaking a sweat. Once you have fully pegged out the Compact 1 Man Bivvy and fitted the Groundsheet you have a shelter that is very stable and guaranteed waterproof to 5000 HH. Add to this the fact that you would have spent only 130quid or less to have a Bivvy that will look the part next door to even the most expensive shelters on the bank and your shelter will do the exactly the same job as it’s far more expensive neighbour. Features
JRC Contact 3 Leg Bedchair RRP £89.99![]() Bank side comfort doesn’t have to have a massive price tag; the proof is in the pudding with this top draw bed system from JRC. This 42” offering from the Compact range will easily land anything swimming in British waters including those unexpected big Catfish which inhabit many of our waters today. With strong composite arms to support the super soft mesh and a light weight handle you’ll struggle to match the quality at just over £30.00.
ConclusionSo we gave the Contact products a thorough office review, checking all stitching, zips and overall production were to a high standard and for the money you have to say they are superb value for money considering 10 years ago we would paid twice the price for a product of the same quality, JRC have done themselves proud. Now as you will know, under normal situations UKMA take all products sent for review out on the bank and give them a proper field test to ensure that if we say it’s good, we know it’s good. However we had other plans for the JRC Contact products which required the products to be kept in perfect condition. On behalf of Pure Fishing and JRC. We at www.ukmatchangler.com are privileged to donate the above Contact Carp products to Stoney and Friends, to be used as prizes for future events to assist their superb efforts to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2010.
