Arguably the most successful media team in the world of carp angling in the past decade have been well and truly at it again with the release of a new book and triple pack DVD. The latest book from the Essex based team is entitled “Telling Tales 2011” is a superbly illustrated sequel to the best selling book released in 2010 and takes you on a journey through a year a year on the bank with the Korda Team. This 17 chapter book describes and illustrates the successes, failures and adventures that the team experience whilst out on the bank in full colour.

The book features contributions from Danny Fairbrass, Ali Hamidi, Damian Clarke, Adam Penning, Darrell Peck and Tom Dove, along with a few of the team that usually avoid the limelight! The numerous chapters cover all aspects of modern carp angling, everything from the capture of one of the very biggest carp in the world, skills required on U.K. day-ticket fishing and the secret world of the under-the-radar club water!  All chapters are superbly illustrated with stunning images and offer plenty of tips and tactics, what else do you expect from Korda?

UKCA have also got our hands on a copy of “Thinking Tackle Season 6”. This three disc DVD set feature all nine shows from season six with immaculate video footage in place that clearly demonstrates all the tactics and tips being described by the relevant members of the team.

Final Thoughts

As per usual Korda have got it spot on. Both the Telling Tales 2012 and Thinking Tackle Season 6, offer you the angler enough useful tips, general carp fishing information and interesting angling stories, to fill the most un-productive of nights on the bank. Both are now in your local tackle shops with Telling Tales 2012 selling for £29.99 and the excellent Thinking Tackle Season 6 retailing for £19.99 which exceptional value considering you get over 420 minutes of quality footage.
