Medium Sinkers

After the very successful launch of the small and large Sinkers from Essex based terminal tackle giants Korda early last year. It was very obvious that it was only going to be only a matter of time before they would release a medium option and complete the Sinkers range.

For those of you who have been asleep for the past 15 months, Sinkers are a rig sinking components that are stored on wire loops. To fit the Sinker on to your hooklink simply place the tag end of  your material through the eye of the wire loop, take hold of a sinker and pull it down over the wire loop and pull down the hooklink until the sinker passes over the wire eye and the tag end and adjust as required, job done!

Sinkers will fit securely on all mono and fluorocarbon hooklinks but in my opinion they come into there own when used in conjunction with un-coated and coated braids, instantly making these materials sink and stay on the deck, which is a must when you have large numbers of fish feeding in the area and because the sinkers have such a low profile it is now possible to have fixed weights located on your hook link even when using PVA sticks.

The Korda Medium Sinkers are available in gravel brown and weed green and are now in your local tackle shop and are selling for around £2.60 per pack of nine.
