| Match Report: Yet again Venue expert Ken Gannon produced the goods on this very closely thought-out match. Ken caught well down the edge on paste from the off on peg 31, feeding pellet and corn this proved to be just enough to secure victory. Only Just of the top spot was Nigel Wright, who fished catmeat over corn down the edge at 8m to secure second from peg 24. Steve Norman was also unlucky with only 8oz separating second and third place, Steve caught on corn and meat over pellet down the edge. |

| Match Report: Saturdays open was a very close affair, with only 1lb separating the top 2 Anglers. London Based Dave Davies made his journey well worth while by producing an excellent 182lb from peg 32, Dave found his fish very close in on meat and pellet. Venue expert Ken Gannon fished paste on the top shelf with paste to produce 181lb for second place.Third and fourth place was not as close with Nigel Wright on peg 20 catching in the margins with corn and catmeat for 3rd place, whilst Fred Nixon secured fourth place on peg 26 using catmeat and pellet down the edge. |

| Match Report: Venue regular John Penhaligan took full advantage of the end peg to produce the winning weight from peg 8, John fished paste at 6m to catch fish to double figures steadily. Yet again Ken Gammon found catmeat down the edge to be the right method on the day to secure 2nd place from peg 22, Ken fed a very large quantity of corn to get the fish to feed Fred Nixon heavily fed 4mm pellet at 6m and down the edge at 4m to secure 3rd from peg 3, catching on corn and catmeat. |

| Match Report: Sundays Open was greeted with 40mph winds which made the going very hard for all. With only 11lb separating the top 4 anglers Venue expert Ken Gannon fished paste down the edge to win this very closely thought contest and secure another match win from peg 5. Saturdays winner Ben Townsend due to conditions had no choice but to fish down the edge and found his quarry on meat and corn. Third placed K Webster assisted by a back wind on peg 12 found all his fish at 6m, he fished catmeat over hemp and corn. |

| Match Report: The man of the Moment Ben Townsend showed yet again that meat up in the water at 12.5m is without question the method of the moment. Ben fished 2 feet deep to find carp to double figures from peg 30. Steve Oswick from Wellingborough had a superb first visit catching on Paste down the edge to secure second place from peg 8. In third place was Rickie James who found fish up in the water at 13m and down the edge on corn. |
