Bait-Tech N-Tice Polony

Available in 340gr tins RRP £2.99

Around 6 years ago I first read a article in one of the glossy monthly’s about meat on the feeder featuring Midland based commercial fishery maestro Andy Findlay. He went on to explain how he discovered Polony and how it had become his chosen hook bait when many others were still using Luncheon meat. Since then many anglers have regarded Polony as a 'closely kept secret' that only the elite anglers were aware of but I’m sorry to say we all now know how good it is. (Cheers Fin!!)

Polony (slicing sausage) has become one of the all-time greats of the bait world thanks to two main factors, its meat ingredient and near neutral buoyancy. It can be cubed, punched, hooked directly, hair-rigged or torn to make any size of hook bait you require. These attributes make it perfect for all aspects of modern match, general course and specialist approaches, including Feeder, waggler and the pole have all now become the chosen skills to present Polony.

To feed the ever growing demand for this superb meat based hook bait, Bait-Tech has released the all new N-Tice Polony for 2010. The product has been produced using the finest human grade pork flavoured naturally with Bait-Tech’s unique mix of garlic, betaine, herbs and spices to give it an instantly recognizable aroma. The choice to use Garlic was a simple, being one of the all-time top attractors its addition will simply boost a hook and feed bait that is already irresistible.

Final Thoughts

Polony is one of the must have bait on many commercial fisheries nationwide, with many anglers now taking advantage of its incredible flavour and all round versatility. Although the N-Tice Polony has already been flavoured, always consider other options to give you a personal edge. Try coating your hook and feed baits with a ground bait (UKMA highly recommend the N-Tice Meaty Mix) or try using a food colour or liquid flavour to make your baits really stand out and always remember “never be scared to try something totally different”
