Dynamite Baits Swim Stim

Betaine Green Carp Groundbait

RRP £3.50

Dynamite Baits have built there brand name around reliability and quality of product, so if they release a new product you can guarantee that it has been thoroughly field tested by some of the best anglers in the country. When the company launched the Swim Stim range of groundbaits all those years ago, match anglers immediately made them part of their armoury on both commecial and natural waters.

The Swim Stim groundbait range is made up of 3 colours; Original, Green and Black. For this review, we chose the match anglers favourite, the Green version. All of the groundbaits in the range are extremely versatile, and make for a good base to anglers own recipes that they favour for the venues they are fishing. The Swim Stim groundbait is made up of several ingredients blended in what a lot of anglers call "a perfect ratio". The ingredients include fishmeal as well as other additives including Betaine or Amino Acids which draw the fish into the baited area and keep them there by stimulating hunger for longer than a more traditional groundbait would.

Where the Swim Stim range really rates amongst match anglers is that dependant on how much water is added to the dry ingredients, the bait can be used in an open end feeder so that it exits quickly and cleanly, can be made to mould around a Method feeder with a controlled breakdown time as well as being used as a paste.

Although it says "carp" on the packaging, Tench and Bream anglers are also experiencing great success when using the Swim Stim range in their mixes or on its own.

Final Thoughts

The Swim Stim range has been on the market for what seems to be forever now, and is showing no sign of becoming less popular or less effective since the introduction of newer groundbaits to the market. The UKMA team have been using the Swim Stim range since day one and is one of the first choices for us on a number of different waters regardless of the species targetted.
