Mistral Baits Ten Pellets

With 2011 well and truly up and running, anglers are out and about looking for practical baiting solutions that are versatile, original and capable of enticing their chosen prey. Being able establish a feed additive that will work in balance with your hook baits, plus stimulate feeding and keep the fish guessing is at the best of times a mind boggling task, especially if you are new to the sport and entering the mine field that is specialist and carp baits for the first time.

To assist us mere mortals, Alan Parbery and his team at Mistral Baits have developed
what they lovingly call "Ten Pellets".

This is a carefully selected blend of over ten different pellets including high oil Halibuts, Ellipse and trout pellets plus coarse and fast breakdown pellets that range from 2-8mm.

Each of the pellets used in this very clever particle option have different breakdown rates, tastes and buoyancies thus releasing a conundrum of feeding stimulants into your swim.

We spoke to Mistral MD Alan Parbery who told UKMA;

“the Ten Pellets blend creates a huge feeding stimulus to keeps carp and numerous other species of big fresh water fish working harder for longer in the swim and will without question increases the chances of a hook bait being picked up by fish that will naturally be far less suspicious of an assortment of offerings, compared to using one type, size or flavour of pellet on its own

And who are we to argue?

First Impressions

This pellet feed option from Mistral Baits is ideal as a carpet feed or feed additive when targeting warm water Barbel and Chub from rivers, big Bream and Tench from your local gravel pits and as a food option for the masses of day ticket and session carp anglers. The Ten Pellet is ideal for all PVA bag work and a great additive option for all spod and stick mixes as well.

The Ten Pellets are supplied in two practical packaging options.
