First Impressions

Over the past 5 years Yorkshire Baits as they were originally know when owned by former Fishomania champion Rob Hitchens have established a solid reputation up north for there top quality baits and in particular their Soft Hook Pellets. Early in 2010 Perry Stone took over the running of the business from his long time angling friend and started work on improving this high quality range. His research and development over the past year has led to the release of possibly the most innovative development in bait packaging in years, introducing the Triple Pots.

The Yorkshire Baits U.K Triple Pot is new style of bait container that has three separate compartments. This has made it possible to package three different flavours or sizes of hook bait both soft and hard in the same container offering the angler more option and far better value for their money. This revolutionary hook bait storage means that if you like to buy your hook baits pre prepared and like to have options you no longer need to spend a fortune to give yourself a varied selection of baits and flavours, which will instantly make them a hit with pleasure and club angler alike.

There are four main types of pellet currently available in the Triple Pot range. First up are the original Soft Hookers that are available in eleven flavours, eight colours and three sizes 4mm, 6mm & 9/11mm. Once you know what flavours and colour you prefer you can know buy them in the three different sizes or opt for three different colours and flavours all in one pot. Second option is the White Pellet Range which is available in either soft or hard pellet and has a distinctive Sweet Candy flavouring and has proven themselves as a great all weather bait option

All the above flavours are available in 4mm, 6mm and 9/11mm sizes.

The next members of this superb bait system are the Super Chunk. These baits are approximately 14mm in size and described by Perry as a “Tough” pellet that are available in Sweet or Spicy options. The fourth option is the Mega Chunk, these are designed specifically for anglers who like to use big baits and cast long distance. Very similar in structure to the Super chunks and are available in 14mm, 16mm and 18mm sizes making them perfect for the match and big fish angler. Both the Super Chunk and Mega Chunk offer fast flavour leakage and a highly visible hook bait.

Final Thoughts

UKMA have just received samples of the New Triple Pots from Yorkshire Bait U.K and we have to admit the idea is simply brilliant.
