Team Bagem Matchbaits Ready For Another Big Year

Northamptonshire based Bagem Matchbaits have been quietly winning open matches and leagues all over the country without shouting about there success for a couple of years now. The Team as a group have amassed more individual and team trophies than Man United in the past four years and every year the trophy cabinet gets bigger and bigger as do the prizes. So UKMA decided to have a little peak behind the scenes.

The Bag'em Team got together to celebrate a great year during 2010 with Neil Machin winning the Pole Fishing Cup, Andy Moors and Neil Machin winning the British Pole Champs with Pete Goodman and Lee Thornton coming 2nd. Trev Robinson won the Midland Angler of the Year and Jamie Hughes won the Kamasan Matchman of the Year. Not bad for a company in its infancy!

Neil Machin puts the success of the company down to the quality of the baits not being compromised by increasing raw material costs. Neil explained 'Only the finest, highest quality fishmeals and pellets are used with unique attractors, we don't bulk out our groundbaits. Our team have absolute confidence in Bag'em matchbaits which shows in our results."

UKMA received word that Marketing Manager Caroline Reed organised an afternoon of team building (beer and banter) and this gave everyone an opportunity to discuss Bag'ems new baits for 2011-12. Caroline told us 'The lads were filmed talking about their particular favourite Bag'em bait,  which will be on YouTube and our web site, so that anglers have some guidance on how and when to use each groundbaits."
