Saturday £1000 Payout Match

This weekend saw 48 of Lincolnshire's top anglers battle it out over 2 days for the £500 top prize.

Day 1 on Skylark lake saw the on form Steve Lane win the lake and section with 57lb 04oz to make it 6 wins in the last 6 matches, with derby youngster Tom Parkin edging Mick Stamp into third. Bait-Tech Rick Tweddle winning Kestrel with 59lb 08oz.

Day 2 saw the anglers swap lakes and Craig Butterfield fished worm and caster from Peg 6 on Kestrel to total 110lb of Carp and Ide on Skylark Lake. Spike Milligan was top with 53lb 08oz of Bream and Carp just edging out Mark Griggs with 52lb 04oz.

At the end of the second day it was very close but Steve winters came out on top with a perfect two point score and Steve Lane just edging out Ian Shaw on weight.
