Garbolino
Flighted Loaded Poly
Pellet Wagglers

One of the most effective weapons in the Commercial fishery angler’s arsenal is without question the pellet waggler.  This method has developed dramatically over the past decade. From the slim loaded plastic floats that were wisely used and available at the start of this millennium. Right through to today’s hi-tech floats that are literally full of features, which are purposely designed to take all the punishment this demanding approach hands out.

By developing and carefully selecting the very best design features to be found on the best hand made pellet wagglers that were only available and used by a very select group of anglers a few years back. The team at Garbolino have now released the Flighted Loaded Poly Pellet Wagglers all new for 2011, that definitely has all the vital statistics to make it a winner with anyone who likes to fish up in the water on rod and line and wants quality presentation every cast.

This solid pellet waggler option takes advantage of the strength and buoyancy found in hi-density polystyrene foam. This material has been proven by long term test to be the lightest and most buoyant material you can use to produce a waggler and many other float bodies. This foam gives the float extra buoyancy which helps to eliminate any potential of the float diving on the cast from the loading on the float, plus poly foam has a proven very reliable when used in the production of pellet wagglers.

The body houses three features that are practical and essential to the floats all round performance. Firstly you have the four evenly spaced flights that are situated approximately 15mm below the floats sight tip. These plastic flights are designed to make the float more accurate when casting and also assist the floats all round stability. The third and most innovative feature is the brass adjustable weight and connector that is found on the bottom of the floats body.

This well designed weight and connector is made up three components, the first is the brass threaded nut which is inserted n the base of the floats body. Then you have the floats connector that has a threaded bolt section that enables the components to be attached securely. The brass weight and connecter’s threaded also acts as a home for two small weights that can be removed to make the float more buoyant in choppy conditions or heavier when conditions required.

Final Thoughts

These tidy pellet wagglers have loads of features to increase all round performance and they do. The key selling point on these for me is the function for altering the floats weigh to changing conditions which is very useful. The Garbolino Flighted Loaded Poly Pellet Wagglers would and should grace the rod of even the most demanding of Matchmen who fishes the pellet waggler at the highest levels.

They are now available from all Garbolino retailers and they come in six different sizes 4g, 5g, 6g, 8g, 10g & 12g and you’ll pay £2.99 per float.
