15" Feeder Hair Rigs

To accompany the recently released GURU Cage Feeder Range, the Essex based company have just released the all new 15" hook length options to accompany them. These hook lengths released for 2011, are manufactured using GURU’s super strong N-Gauge Japanese copolymer rig line and the seriously sharp Guru MWG hooks, which have already established themselves as one of the sharpest feeder hooks available. There are 4 different options in the range, size 10 MVG hook to 12lb N-Gauge, size 12 MVG hook to 9lb N-Gauge, size 14 MVG hook to 9lb N-Gauge and last but not least size 16 MVG hook to 7lb N-Gauge.

These latest offerings from the GURU team are ideal for all straight lead and feeder work including the Cone and PVA stick work. The hair has been tied long enough to accommodate a single grain of corn, a small punch of Luncheon meat, all softened 6mm expander pellets or a single 6mm boilie. By matching the right hook length to your targeted species, I can see these very well tied hook lengths becoming very popular amongst the bream fraternities, both match and specialist, as well as the armies of commercial fishery anglers who target carp.

Just to see how strong these Hair Rig hook lengths are, we connected the hook and top connection loop between two rig tension tools and pulled, putting all knots and components under intense pressure but nothing broke or snapped. The15’ Feeder Hair Rigs from GURU are now readily available from all leading retail outlets and sell for £2.25 per pack of eight.

On first impressions I can’t find fault in these well made hook lengths but until they have been out on the bank and well and truly tested (caught fish whilst using them) then the jury is still out. Watch this space for the UKMA on the bank field test that will be coming to you very soon.
