WB Clarke Wychavon Rod Range

New For 2011

Evesham based WB Clarke since taking over the distribution of the hugely successful Matchteam hi-tech rig line have built a solid reputation for quality and reliability of product. To build on this success the Evesham based company have invested in the development of three budget rods that are very well manufactured and are well worth a look. The range consists of a 3 piece 13ft Power Waggler, a 12ft Power Feeder and the superb 2 piece11ft Power Waggler Pellet.

All three rods are built incorporating a cleverly tapered full cork handle which has a graduated taper which starts about 2/3 of the way from the reel seat to the butt end and enable the anglers arm to rest perfect against the butt section, creating far greater stability when playing bigger fish. The reel is retained using a positive screw reel seat that comfortably and solidly holds a 4000 size reel or mini bait runner with ease and it is finished off in a dull brushed chrome effect alloy.

As standard on all rods, WB Clarke have opted to use the Matsuku Toughened Guides through out, these guides are used on many top brand specimen and specialist rods and have an established reputation for strength and durability. The Matsuku Guided used are a standard three legged anti- friction lined guide on all butt sections, with single legged guides on all other sections, that are more than capable of handling the punishment of all commercial and natural fishery angling techniques and demands.

First Impressions

The new for 2011 Wychavon rods all look the part and feel very well made. All three rods have a floorless parabolic action that makes it possible to use lighter hook links when necessary and also makes fish playing a very enjoyable experience.

WB Clarke has managed to put out a range of rods that have all the characteristics of many rods already available but at half the price, which is a blessing at these times of every penny counting.

Each rod will sell for the very reasonable price of £39.99 and are more than suitable for anglers of all abilities.
