| Match Report: The Saturday Open on Brook saw the return of Lee Ripper and while it fished hard after the frosts, Lee had lots of the new stockies averaging 12oz and a few 2-3lbs fish mostly on pellet tight over for a fine win on a difficult day, pushing team mate Gary Thorpe down to 2nd place. It would appear that the new fish have made a difference, producing plenty of bites. |

However only one angler managed a perfect 14 point score over the two days and it was Drennan Oxford's Steve Page who mastered both lakes to earn the top prize of £700. Steve drew Swallow Lake on the first day and fished chopped worm and caster for his section win. On the second day he fished maggot close in on Brook Lake for another section win and a perfect two day score. |
