This is the entry level chair from the range and designed to suit the requirements of the day or short session angler. The chairs frame is made from the highest spec hi-tensile powder coated steel which in very lightweight, durable and offers superb all round stability and strength. The MC1 Chair is furnished using a hard wearing; black canvas material that has high-density foam filled back cover that gives more than adequate support to your back and protection from the supporting frame. All four legs are fully adjustable and incorporate pivoting round mud feet.

The MC1 Chair is very strong yet lightweight, easy to transport making it ideal for the roving or mobile session angler. When folded down and packed away it will comfortably fit into the smallest of boot spaces or back seat foot wells taking up virtually no space at all. Other noticeable features include locking nuts or pins that when you set the chair up allow the leg frame and seat frame to lock together, meaning no more embarrassing chair collapsing moments for your mate to chuckle about when fishing on steep banks or on uneven ground.

Matchbox MC Add Adapter Block

To attach the above accessories, Matchbox tackle have come up with quite a brilliant attachment device call the MC Add Adapter Block. The block consists of a two part cylindrical tube that on the longer section has a 16mm receptacle with a threaded bolt locking system. This is designed to house the systems 16mm bankstick and a second locking system is situated at the opposite end to lock both parts together and when loosened off this allows rotation of the adaptor. The shorter section has a machine tool fitted that inserts into the Long section and the pre-machined grove that runs around the tool enable 360 degree rotation of any attachment fitted.

To attach the MC Add Adapter Block to your seating equipment is as simple as undoing a single bolt to open the jaws of the attachment, them simply place the jaw around the leg and tighten the bolt back up, as a certain Meerkat would say “simples” This superb adaptor will not only fit on the MC1 chairs but they will also fit on all standard 22.5mm and 25mm round-leg chairs and bedchairs currently available on the U.K. market. This adapter block makes it easy so that add-ons can be fitted at any angle off the chair leg. You get three of these clever bits of kit in with the block.
