NEO'S

Those very clever chaps at MATRIX INNOVATIONS have put there heads together to come up with a totally new twist to the indicator head that they have called NEO’S. What make these tarty little numbers so original is they have two permanently fixed stainless bars that protrude from the top of the body, with each one having a ball produced from the same material as the body mounted at the top to create the line attachment. They can be fished running like a conventional hanger or if you trap your line in the precisely machined groove on the touching faces of each ball they can be fished with the line trapped for slack lining makes it possible to get the same type of indication that is achievable with the Stow indicator system.

The NEO’s are now in stock at all leading MATRIX INNOVATIONS retail outlets and are available in eight different colours which are: Red, Yellow, Green, Blue, Clear, White, Stainless and Purple, with each head costing you around £9.50 each. To totally tart the NEO’s up you can add the MATRIX dinky isotopes and there is a colour to match all heads currently available and these sell for £6.75 each. The dinky isotopes fit perfectly inside the body and will be securely held in place once your chains are screwed into the base of the heads. To complete the package there are two different lengths of chain available. There is a two inch chain which sells for £4.85 each and is ideal for fishing your indicators Stow style. The second option is a ten inch version that sells for £4.99 for those who prefer a longer chain.

Final Thoughts

UKMA have had a proper play around with the NEO’s and they work as well as any other indication system I have used before, with the added bonus of being able to connect them to your line making them perfect for Stow style indication (two for one very nice indeed) For those of you who like to go in search of pike and zander during the cold months the NEO’s could and should also become a major asset for your bite indication accessories this year as they are very light for there size. A very versatile and practical indicator head that once fitted with the matching isotope will really get you noticed on the bank, especially when the sun starts to set.
