UKMA: Can you explain briefly how you got into angling? 

Peter Clapperton: Family needed to eat in the 50s.  13 years old – see picture on right.

UKMA: How did you start in the angling trade?

PC: Selling hot dogs and hamburgers at fishing matches with Bob Nudd in the early 70s.  Called Pete & Bob’s Mobile Dogs. 

UKMA: What made you decide to start your own business within the angling industry?

PC: Thought it would be easy and pleasurable.  Neither was true.

UKMA: How long has the company been running?

PC: Walking more like!  Launched at Tackle ‘n Guns October 2006.  Personally in groundbait and bait business since 1982.

UKMA: How do you see the future with regards to company expansion over the forthcoming years?

PC: As most of my future is behind me, very very quickly.
