Top Three for 2010

The Teme Severn brand may not be on your shopping list every week but it should be, especially if you fish for Barbel and Chub on rivers. Over the past few years this team of dedicated specialist anglers have put together a range of baits specifically designed to catch big fish from rivers. However they have discovered from long term field testing that the range of baits they produce also catches big fish from Still waters. So with specimen Carp, Barbel and Chub added to the Impact CV it was becoming obvious that this bait holds no boundaries

There was one major influence that finally put Teme Severn well and truly on the map. That was the introduction and release of Lamprey as the base flavour for the Boilies and Pastes, which after being released back in 2006. This unlikeliest of flavour that was originally developed for Teme Severn by specialist guru Dave Mason took the specialist world totally by storm. Since then the range has evolved with the Impact Boillies, Pellets, Pastes and Groundbaits building a substantial following amongst some of the countries top Barbel and chub specialists.

UKMA first became aware of Teme Severn brand name about two and a half years ago. I got my hands on a sample of their 16mm Lamprey Boillies, which have caught me numerous big fish, including my PB Catfish at a satisfying 42lb 4oz. Since then I have tried the majority of the products from the Impact range and found them all to be exceptional products. Highly Flavoured Lamprey Dumbells

The latest addition to the Impact Range is the Highly Flavoured Lamprey Dumbells.

  These pungent morsels are a plum red in colour and have a distinctive marine aroma that only a fish could truly love.

Although designed with the river angler in mind, this new member to the impact range is also scoring exceptionally well on numerous still waters. 

Expect to pay around £5.00 for a 280ml tub of these versatile shelf life Dumbell hook baits.

Lamprey Red Hookers

Impact by name, Impact by nature, these pre – drilled Lamprey Red pellets are taking waters apart where ever they are used.

Specimen chub, Barbel and even carp in the 40lb+ club have been taken on the original pellets.

They are available in sizes 8, 16 & 20mm which make them suited to virtually any pellet loving species that swim in British waters.

They come to you in 500g packets and sell for a very reasonable £2.75.

Salips

Another original product from Teme Severn for 2010 is the Salips.

These Intensely flavoured salmon pellets are available in mini mix and hook baits.
The unique oval shape of the hook baits gives the angler the chance to use bait that can and does fool any pressured fish that shy away from conventionally shaped pellets.

The Mini Mix is a blend of pellets that attract and stimulate big into feeding, attracting them to your hook baits.

The Salip Hookers are sold in 500g bags and sell for £2.75, whilst you’ll pay £3.75 for 1kg of the Salip Mini Mix.

I have had superb results with many of the original products from the Impact range, fishing many different types of venue for many different species. UKMA have played around with some of the new range and find the performance and quality to be of the usual high standard we expect from Teme Severn Impact Baits. Yes!! We know the packaging may not be all silver foil and multicoloured labels but the products inside are superb!!
