Braddock’s Powdered Additives are Back

After a 5 year absence from the retail world, the Archie Braddock’s  Range of Powdered bait Flavours are now available to the general public once again, which is something I was personally very please to here about. Upon hearing the news, I made contacted Quest Baits MD Shaun Harrison who was more than pleased to comment on the release of the Archie Braddock’s Powders, here’s what he had to say;

We at Quest Baits are delighted to announce the re-introduction of these outstanding feed inducing powders. I sold them myself for years whilst working at Walkers of Trowell and the feedback we used to get was nothing short of amazing. Unfortunately the bait side of things was very much a side line for Archie and when he decided to retire he stopped manufacture of his powders - much to the disappointment of many. Whilst I was at Walkers we purchased all his remaining powder blends, such was the popularity of them, but they didn’t last long! After a chance conversation with Archie I brought up the subject of his spice blends and to cut a long story short he agreed to pass his recipe books on to us at Quest so we could once again make these very special and highly effective blends available to the angler”

So, for the first time for a few years you are once again able to enjoy the feed inducing qualities of...

  • Supaspice – Roach, Perch, Tench and Chub.
  • Xotic Spice – Perch, Roach, Bream and Barbel
  • Mega Carp – Carp
  • Mega Spicy – Barbel, Chub and Bream
  • Available in
  • 100g - £2.99
  • 300g - £6.99

Below is a foot note from the great man himself

“Regretfully, I ceased production of my powdered additives around five years ago, due to impending retirement and pressure on my time. Put simply, it was the additives or my fishing time; so all anglers will understand which one I chose!
So, I’m doubly pleased that Shaun Harrison at Quest Baits has decided to re-introduce four of the additives with hopefully more to follow. Having known him throughout his 25 years at Walkers of Trowell I know that he will do the job right, exactly as I would do it myself.
I’m also very pleased that all the intense experimentation I put into developing these products has not been wasted, and I’m proud be able to play a part in what I believe will be a very successful re-launch by Quest Baits”.
