Dynamite Baits Specialist News

Dynamite Baits have provided UKMA with some of their latest news from the company backed anglers.

Sardine & Anchovy Brings Big Barbel

Dynamite sponsored angler, Adrian Eves, made the decision to visit a stretch of the River Loddon that was fishing extremely difficult, yet still got amongst the fish during a short session!

Adrian was targeting the venues Barbel stocks with the new Dynamite Baits Sardine & Anchovy Boilies in 10mm size. Even though these boilies haven’t been on the shelves a great deal of time, already Adrian cannot speak more highly of them.
Added to the business end of his rig, Adrian scalded some Dynamite Robin Red Carp Pellets and added some Dynamite Baits GLM Hookbait Dip and wrapped the whole lot around a Fox paste bomb.
He managed two bites during the session, which was two more than any other anger on the water that evening! His first one came from a nice chub of 4lb 12oz, and his second came from a new personal best barbel from the Loddon, a 12lb 12oz beauty!
Adrian has since been in touch informing us that he has some other exciting sessions planned. Expect to see a few more catch reports very soon!

Gibson Lands Immaculate Chub

Dynamite’s Tony Gibson has had an amazing result on a club stretch of the River Ouse, landing a stunning chub of 7lb 4oz during a short evening session.

With the weather and river conditions looking absolutely spot on, he made the decision to fish a shot evening session.
“I decided to try a stretch well off the beaten track, as some of the better known areas for the bigger chub were getting relatively pressured, especially now that a lot of the barbel anglers have been targeting chub, since there's relatively few barbel left in the river due to otter predation” Tony explained
Tony’s only bite of the session fell to a medium sized cage feeder packed with a mix consisting of liquidized bread and Dynamite Baits Frenzied Hempseed. The winning hookbait was a small pinch of breadflake straight on the hook.
“The fish was in great condition, which goes to show that these fish don't have to rely on anglers baits to grow big. It's a PB chub and my second '7' from the river Ouse. My previous PB chub was a 7lb 2oz from the Carthagena stretch of the river Lea caught back in March 2005,” concluded Tony.

February Tench For Adrian Eves

Many anglers would not even think about targeting Tench during the winter months, but that’s just what Dynamite’s Adrian Eves did recently, and with some fantastic coldwater results!

“I knew a few tench had been coming out from a local stillwater, so I decided a little pre-baiting might do the trick. Finding a clear spot in the weed, I introduced some Dynamite Baits Spicy Chilli Frenzied Hempseed, Frenzied Hempseed GroundBait and white maggots flavoured with a few drops of RH megaspice” explained Adrian
Adrian carried out this pre-baiting for 3 days, before he arrived on an afternoon session, ready to find out if anything had been visiting his spots.
Adrian started his session be introducing the same mix as he had been prebaiting with, and then fished over the top of it with maggot feeders baited with double white maggot.
“It took about 5 minutes before I was into the first tench. The action was then fast and furious for the next 4 hours and I was unable to keep both rods cast out through a hectic spell at dusk. I finished up with ten glorious tench between 4 and 6 lbs. I would have been delighted with that in June!" Adrian concluded
