Dynamite Baits Specialist News

Dynamite Baits have provided UKMA with some of their latest news from the company backed anglers.

Barbel Just Love Sardine & Anchovy!

After breaking no less than eight personal bests in 2010, Dynamites Adrian Eves has been out on the bank again, with his intended target this time being barbel.

Armed with the awesome new Sardine & Anchovy Boilie, Adrian just knew the fish would be feeding.

“The weather was changing and every day was getting slightly warmer, I knew it was time for the barbel rods to come out. Daytime temperatures were around 10-12 Celsius and it wasn't much different over night” explained Adrian.

“I spent the session roving between swims, introducing a few freebie boilies into each. I was using Sardine & Anchovy Boilies, pared down and then soaked in Green Lip Mussel Hookbait Dip added Adrian.

Adrian’s one and only bite of the session came well into darkness, with the culprit being a cracking barbel weighing in at 11lb. This was the only fish to be landed on the stretch during the day by all anglers fishing it.

The Sardine & Anchovy range look set to be great baits for not only carp, but barbel too. Get out and give them a try!

Massive Roach For Gareth Goldson

Dynamite Baits most recently signed angler, Gareth Goldson, has had a great start to his winters roach fishing. After landing three 2lb plus fish on his first session, he returned to take a further two, with the biggest tipping the scales at an almighty 2lb 12oz!

The Cromer based specimen all-rounder decided to fish small maggot feeder helicopter rigs, with red maggots soaked in Dynamite’s XL Pineapple Liquid Attractant as hookbait.

“To start with I struggled to keep more than one rod in the water at a time, this being due to the abundance of small fish inhabiting the lake. In the end though, persevering with the method resulted in the 2lb 12oz fish, shortly followed by another specimen of 2lb 4oz and one of 1lb 9oz. A real red letter day!” explained Gareth

Gareth is no stranger to big fish, having caught many species well into specimen proportions. Expect to read plenty more about this specialist angler throughout the year.
