Korda Developments Krusha

Small - £10.99 Large - £13.99

The Test of Time

Prior to the release of the Krusha about a year ago, there was many sceptical reports and posts on numerous carp forums about the product, with many comparisons being made to devices best suited for the crushing or chopping of herbal remedies used in religious events partaken by certain Caribbean religious cults and Chavs, however if you read on you will see this is where the comparisons end.

The two sizes of Korda Krusha

For those of you who have or are already using the Korda Krusha then you will already know how good a product it is. I first had a look at one of these at the “Carpin’ On” show at 5 Lakes last year and was instantly impressed with the idea of being able to break, grind or chop your baits into crumbs or chunks to create numerous particle options from a limited number of bait whilst bankside.

The Korda Krusha is a twin chambered device, each chamber has a number of triangular spikes that when pushed together and rotated against each other work like powerful teeth. The Krusha is more than capable of pulverising the hardest of baits into fine crumb in a matter of seconds, making it ideal for crushing boilies, pellets, particles and nuts perfectly every time (the boilies in the picture had been air dried for 6 months) not bad eh??

After owning the Korda Krusha in both sizes for nearly a year now, and used them regularly on virtually every session I have fished over the past 10 months and destroying kilo’s of air dried boilies that a drill struggled to penetrate. Without a doubt, the time and money Korda invested in developing the Krusha was well spent. With all the components still in place and no major sign of wear or tear, Danny and the Korda development team have got this one spot on.

Fill the smaller diameter half with bait, put together & twist a few times, open up & VOILA!!!

Footnote

Since May of last year I have owned a set of the Krusha’s and I won’t leave home without them. Whatever my chosen method of feeding might be, from PVA Bags to a spod mix, the Krusha will assist in my bait preparation and there is no bait I use in my everyday angling that the Krusha will not destroy. This is the only non-electrical bank side tool available that does the job both quickly, efficiently and is permanently in my bait bag.

Whilst on a visit to one of the top angling shows, I discovered a manufacturer had released a (short of an image of a pair of glasses and Korda being written on it) similar product. I’m a fond believer in “if you buy the original you will get value for money”. Lets face it, how many times have you watched a film and loved it only to be disappointed by the sequel, that was made on a cheaper budget? Need I say any more?
