Clint Walker

Sponsored by Devon based Pallatrax, North West all rounder Clint Walker writes regularly for a variety of magazines, compiles a weekly Sheffield based newspaper column, and contributes to a host of web based angling media. Clint has been fishing for almost 30 years and enjoys most types of angling, photography and writing about his experiences.

Clint has been part of the team at UKMA since early 2011 and has contributed a number of independent reviews and features for the ‘Specialist’ pages of our website. Clint told UKMA; “Although I enjoy many aspects of angling writing, my favourite has to be review work so I can tell other anglers what I think of something which they may also use, or be considering to purchase. I often find that I have to think more about my own angling when reviewing tackle or bait to make sure I catch something to demonstrate the product!”

Clint has spent the last few years concentrating on carp angling with the odd foray into the worlds of specimen bream and tench taking slabs to over 13lbs and tench to almost 10lbs, but having recently gained a new found passion for predator angling, a 25lbs+ pike and 5lbs+ perch  are now definite targets and a visit to Cudmore Fishery in Staffordshire should make this happen! 2012 will also see Clint at a variety of NW venues in addition to proposed visits to Horseshoe Lake, the river Great Ouse, a return to Pendle View and who knows where else!
