Drennan Carp 5 pole floats

Vital Statistics

This latest addtion to the Carp float range features a slim body, specifically chosen for superior bite detection as this style of body offers minimal resistance. The float is furnished with a 0.6mm wire stem which keeps the float exceptionally stable even when fishing in strong winds. At the business end, a 1.5mm hollow Glow Tip is fitted for assured delicate bite indication. For increased strength and long term performance, the tip is also securely bonded into the body and further reinforced with a strengthening spigot. The final component used in the manufacture of these floats is a black stainless steel spring eye, this adds further strength and as a finishing touch this is double wound to prevent the line getting trapped or pinched whilst under intense pressure.

Key Feature – As with all the current Drennan pole floats the Carp 5 is built and hand assembled in Drennan’s own factories and finished with a special acrylic paint that makes it super tough and very difficult to mark.

Final Thoughts

This float will cope equally well with open water, shallow margins and island swims when targeting silver fish, F’1‘s, plus big bream, carp, tench, barbel and chub on still waters The all round finish and strength will make these a big favourite with all anglers who are looking for a mass produced float that offers exceptional versatility.
